Hugh Jackman has tested positive for Covid after an outbreak hit the Broadway production he is starring in. The Aussie actor confirmed his infection in an Instagram video posted so fans could “hear it” from him.
“I tested positive for Covid. Mild symptoms and as soon as I’m cleared … looking forward to getting back to The Winter Garden! @MusicManBway,” he captioned the clip. — Hugh Jackman (@RealHughJackman) December 28, 2021, In the video, Mr. Jackman is seen wearing a black face mask and delivering the message against a white wall as he reassured fans. “Hey good morning, so I just wanted you to hear it from me that I tested positive this morning for Covid,” he said. “My symptoms are like a cold, I have like a scratchy throat and a bit of a runny nose but I’m fine. And I’m just gonna do everything I can to get better ASAP.
“And as soon as I’m cleared I’ll be back on stage heading to River City. So just wanted you to hear from me. So please stay safe, be healthy, be kind.” The 53-year-old began starring in The Music Man on Broadway before Christmas but just days later his co-star Sutton Foster came down with Covid. Now, with its second lead in isolation, the production has canceled all performances until New Year’s Day with Jackman out of action until at least January 6.

Oscar-winning actor/musician Jared Leto took to Instagram this week to mark his 50th birthday with a shirtless photo, revealing an enviable physique while holding a colorful piece of cake. “Thx for all the bday wishes,” the actor, who most recently played Paolo Gucci in Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci, posted.
The actor has, in the past, credited his veggie-based lifestyle for maintaining his youthful appearance. “It’s probably just down to sleep and diet,” he told Rolling Stone in 2016. ”If your travel long haul a lot or don’t sleep much, it’s not going to last very long, that’s for sure.

Leto plays the former vice president and managing director of Gucci in his recent film that tells the tragic but true story of Patrizia Reggiani, played by Lady Gaga, who served 16 years in prison for plotting the murder of her husband Maurizio Gucci, portrayed by Adam Driver.

Holly’s relaxing holiday comes after she celebrated one year sober earlier in December following a secret battle with alcohol. The daughter of TV chef Gordon shared her milestone achievement with her 280,000 Instagram followers and admitted it wasn’t easy.
Holly previously opened up about being sexually assaulted twice at the age of 18, leading to a devastating battle with PTSD that saw her spend three months in a mental health hospital. The daughter of the expletive-loving chef recently opened up about her mental health. The 21-year-old bravely spoke of the ordeal for the first time in August on her podcast 21 & Over.
The assaults took place when she was an 18-year-old university student and she credited her dad with helping her deal with the aftermath. Holly is one of five of Gordon and Tana’s children, along with her twin Jack, sisters Megan, 23, and Tilly, 19, and youngest brother Oscar, two. The fashion design student revealed last year that she had joined a modeling agency, posting a series of headshots after joining Established Models.
4. Legendary Motown Singer Wanda Young Dead At 78:-
Wanda Young, the singer in the Motown doo-wop girl group The Marvelettes, died earlier this month outside of Detroit. Young, 78, died December 15 of complications of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, her daughter Meta Ventress told The New York Times on Saturday. Young replaced another singer in the Michigan group when Motown head Berry Gordy signed the band in 1961. A month later, The Marvelettes’ “Please Mr. Postman” became the first song on the young label to reach the top of the charts.
The group followed the hit with popular songs like “My Baby Must Be A Magician” and “Don’t Mess With Bill,” which both featured Young providing lead vocals. The frequent collaborator of Smokey Robinson is survived by three children, seven grandchildren, a great-grandson, four sisters, and four brothers.
